Lord, Here I Am (Catacomb/Audio House AI-IKB 161F76) 1976
Different set of Sisters from the above, featuring a dozen or so Sisters of St. Dominic from Great Bend, Kansas. They’ve got a couple acoustic guitars, a little percussion, solo vocals, twittering harmonies, occasional piano – in short, the usual pleasant nun-folk sound. Songwriting shared between Sisters Amy McFrederick and Ruth Klein. Fifteen original tunes, plus a cover of Meat Loaf’s ‘Paradise By The Dashboard Light’. Okay, sorry, just kidding on that last one. Attractive orange and red windmill cover drawing. (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
Thank you Ken for the front cover photo and Donald for the rear cover photos and track list.
