Indwelling (Alba House CFS-2337) 1971

Very pretty melodic Catholic folk sounds, the type you typically find on the early World Library and FEL labels. Nice simple musical arrangements featuring the usual folk instruments plus accordion, mandolin, harpsichord and Fabing on lead guitar. Fragile endearing harmonies provided by four men known as the Promised Town Singers. Twelve titles that range from strummed up-tempo numbers (‘Treasure In A Field’, ‘A Brand New Promised Land’) to delicate acoustic songs (‘Business Of A Friend’) to stirring melancholy ballads (‘A Gift’, ‘To Speak His Word’). Ohio Catholic music label. (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
