The Word Made Music (Light LS-5649) 1975

Since keyboardist Clark Gassman played a big role on Ralph Carmichael’s The Electric Symphony, I was curious to see if any of that inspiration carried over onto this album. While indeed there are a few interesting synthesizer moves scattered about, most of The Word Made Music is standard Light-label pop/easy-listening. The fluffy “rock” flourishes and loungy muzak harmonies help out slightly, but better more hip examples of this kind of sound can be found in musicals like ‘ Natural High. Don’t blame me if the anti-devil ditty ‘Mr. Bad, Mr. Evil’ becomes permanently lodged in your brain. John Fischer involved. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you DISCOGS for the front cover photo and track list.  Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo.
