That They May Be One (GU-4) 1976

That They May Be One consists mostly of choral folk/praise selections. Unfortunately the unison singing tends to be rather bland and the songwriting not as inspired as in the past. I would say they’re at least still on par here with groups like The Fisherfolk. ‘Jesus, Teach Me How To Love’ is a nice piano-backed ballad that features solo female vocals. ‘When Led By The Spirit’ also has an appealing minor-key acoustic mood. Subtitled Songs Of Covenant Love and Joy. The back cover identifies the group being based out of Faith Village in Augusta, Georgia as part of a charismatic covenant community called the Alleluia Community. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and track list.
