Presenting His Electronic Guitorgan (JB 1974) 1974?

Here’s an interesting custom lp for the “weird instruments” category. Joey’s Electronic Guitorgan looks like an electric guitar, but can simulate the sound of the Hammond B-3 organ, as well as accordion, vibes, chimes and special effects. This is the only album I’ve ever seen to feature one, and it’s a Christian record to boot (mostly instrumental covers of hymns). For the most part the thing ends up sounding like your basic cheesy organ, but crossed with a touch of slide whistle. Not all that wild, but odd enough to get a mention here. The record also has Joey playing balalaika, banjo and Hawaiian guitar, plus the folksinging duo of Darlene Lahti and Vickie Ronan doing ‘Put Your Hand In The Hand’, Children Of The Day’s ‘As A Child’ and a couple others.    (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Ken for the front cover photo and Discogs for the track list.
