Second Look (Chrism R-7802) 1977

Catchy, breezy and jazzy are some of the words that describe this well produced set. The rock side of the group is represented by the island flavored ‘Lifesaver’, as well as the talk-box-enriched ‘Kiss Of Life’. ‘Walkin’ and ‘Hope Song’ are fine examples of ‘70s have-a-nice-day pop-rock, while ‘Someone Chased Away The Rain’ supplies a smooth mellow jazz-rock groove. Still room for one pedal-steel/fiddle country holdover (‘Homespun Harmony’). Rounded out by a number of ballads. Some brass and sax appearances, plus a lot of string orchestration on the slower songs. Three of the titles were written by Bob Farrell, another three by Danny Taylor. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

This album was also released in the UK on the Grapevine label in 1978.

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you George for the front and rear cover photo.  Thank you Discogs for the label photo and the track list.
