Ministry Of Encouragement/Brand New! (Firewind FW-0004) 1978?

Hope’s second lp perfects the strong songwriting of guitarist and lead vocalist Cindy Barth, revealing a refreshing style that has their own unique stamp. Some infectious warm-and-sunny folk-rock grooves on ‘Brand New’ and ‘Come Now Let Us Reason Together’. A few timely electric guitar leads have been added courtesy of Craig Marlatt (who also produced the album). ‘Shepherd Song’ and ‘Christ Our Passover’ both have a moody mysterious presence enhanced by phased 12-string guitar. Touched up here and there with flute, piano and electric piano. The minor-key ‘Save Me O Lord’ features some unusual creative synthesizer soloing. All original songs save for an electric cover of Don Francisco’s ‘He’s Alive’. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Ken for the front cover photo and track list.  Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and the track list.
