Tomorrow May Never Come (Spectrum 412/413) 1973

Not really a solo album like Clouds, Tears & Mountains, but rather a rock musical written by Hybl, performed by Hybl and others. Vocals are primarily of the 100-voice youth choir variety (supplied by a Menlo Park, California group called Forever Family) – full of spunk, not glossy and polished, but not primitive and cheesy either. Still plenty of opportunity for solo and small-group vocalists, including Hybl. The musical backing is solid in spite of being heavily primed with brass, The electric guitar work is good, served up wah-wah style on ‘Throw Away Your Cares’ and the title track, even building into some serious fuzzed hard rock on ‘I Want To Know’. Strong keyboard presence as well. “Alive and pulsating” says the back cover, to which I wholeheartedly agree. Subtitled A Rock Musical About The Return Of Jesus Christ. Same California custom label as the Mustard Seed album.   (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you DISCOGS for the rear cover photo and track list.
