Look Up (Eternal Life 41196) 1983

Solid heavy rocking private press that’s worthy of the same pedestal as The Daniel Band and Barnabas. Tough yet melodic ‘80s arena hard-rock sound featuring loud metallic electric guitar riffs aplenty backed by a spacious wall of synthesizers. Moods range from the power ballads ‘Thank You Jesus’ and ‘Dreams’ to the fast-rocking ‘Set Free’ and ‘I’ve Got A Feeling’, with songs like ‘Light Shine’, ‘Lovin’ On My Mind’, ‘Dreams’ and the title track falling somewhere in between. ‘Put On The Armor’ anticipates the whole Stryper/Barren Cross metal thing that was about to break loose. Four guys (including two lead guitarists) and two girls (both on keyboards) from Grand Junction, Colorado. Would have been a perfect candidate for the Tunesmith label. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet.  Thank you George for the front and rear cover photos and track list.
