Joyful Noise (WOW 534N9) 1975

This particular Joyful Noise recorded several albums for the Way International, The group consists of a dozen or so members, though usually only a subset appear on any individual track. The debut for the most part has a nice country/rural folk-rock sound typical of the times. You know – electric guitar, 12-string, banjo, male/female vocals. Occasionally interrupted with a gospel/r&b or piano solo number. Vol. II is less consistent but still has about three or four worthwhile songs. They got progressively smoother, mellower and stylistically spread out on Vol. III, America Awakes and other later albums. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).
