The Life Of A New Creation (VES-101-LP) 1973?

There’s a good half an album of worthwhile listening on this Oral Roberts University Community local press. Side one (the lesser side) captures a live folk worship service with guitar backing and a large group of people singing along. Side two, on the other hand, features six excellent studio tracks of the solo/duo acoustic folk variety, some of the best I’ve heard. Jerry Williams opens with ‘Worthy Art Thou’ – he would later become half of the popular ccm group Harvest. David Stearrnan performs ‘You Can See’, a song that also appears on his fine solo lp from the same community. Also two first-rate female folksinger tracks: Judy Byrum with ‘The Father Knows’ and Evie Johnson’s ‘Love Song’. Rounded out by Larry Stockstill (‘Lady In White’) and an uncredited male/female duo singing ‘Child Of Light’. Each is backed solely by acoustic guitar. Wouldn’t have minded hearing more from any of these folks. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet.  Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and the track list.
