Stagecoach (Rainbow RR0159) 1978

If you enjoy mellow artists like Pat Terry, then you’ll probably also appreciate this Sacramento man’s homemade mix of country folk-rock, acoustic ballads and pop-edged light rock. Features Dennis on acoustic and electric guitars, others on drums, bass, piano, synths, Fender Rhodes, saxophone, mandolin, steel guitar and backing vocals. A few songs with light unobtrusive brass or string arrangements, the latter courtesy of Tom Howard. Simple easygoing appeal expressed through titles like ‘First Love’, ‘Author Of Love’, ‘Union Of Two Spirits’, ‘When I Trust You’ and ‘Glory Be To Our God & King’. All self-written songs, save for the Tom Stipe title track. Fantastic color cover art of winged horses pulling a stagecoach. Same custom label that released albums by Heirship and Emmaus Road.     (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet.
