Living Water I (IRC 1007) 1979?
Male/female foursome’s wholesome custom of country folk-rock, rural progressive and melodic light rock. All original songs with a simple homemade air and a few flashes of Maranatha old-timers such as Parable and Phoenix Sonshine. Electric piano and synthesizer add periodic depth, as do the electric guitar leads. Most of the songs have a graceful rural-edged Jesus music style, including titles like ‘Child Of God’ and ‘Holy House’. ‘Resurrection/Stone Rolled Away’ begins with a solemn mood, then perks up with a bit of friendly electric slide guitar. Also some Southem-style electric guitar growls spicing up ‘I Found It’. Nice shimmering mysterious edges enveloping ‘Troublemaker’. From Charlotte, North Carolina. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).
