Sings For Christ (Angelns WR 4841) 1970?

Once one looks past the matching outfits of this California group (blue jackets for the three guys, white ruffles and black-and-white checkered skirts for the three girls) one finds a simple-but-pleasant charm-infused folk album. Songs like ‘All My Trials’, ‘Do You Know My Jesus’, ‘Is He Satisfied’, ‘Too Late To Pray’ and ‘Jesus Is A Soul Man’ are performed with earnest amateur female harmonies over-top a low-fi blurry background rumble of strummed electric guitar, acoustic guitar and electric bass (no percussion). From Christians Chapel, Thousand Oaks, California. Same label as Fraction. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott). (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
