The Music Of Body Life (Fish FR 102) 1971?

Body Life was the name of an ongoing Sunday night event at Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto, California. This recording assembles thirteen live selections from the musical portion of the service. Most songs are of the folk/acoustic variety, featuring either individual performances (such as John Baxter, Jerry Wasley, and Debbie Kruse), duos, threesomes, foursomes, on up to a couple lesser numbers of the contemporary gospel ensemble variety. Includes an early appearance of Marj Snyder, pictured on the back cover sitting up against a wall, barefoot, playing her guitar. Her voice is easily recognized on ‘11 Timothy 2:12-13’ where she’s accompanied by John Fischer. Fischer can also be found backed by a small band on his ‘Psalm 91’. Some bluesy electric guitar on a rendition of the spiritual ‘Staid On Jesus’. The excellent recorder-backed ‘Rays Of The Son’ has the feel of some of the early Maranatha rural acoustic groups. In fact the whole project is kind of like a homemade Everlastin ’ Living Jesus Music Concert. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and the track list.
