Songs For The Asking (LRS-RT-6554) 1979

Same Old Mission in Santa Barbara, same murky folk-with-organ sound, but different personnel by this time. Contains a few old spirituals and hymns, plus covers of songs by The Dameans (“Glory Land’), Leo Nestor (‘From Heaven The Lord Looks Down’) and Sebastian Temple (‘Prayer Of St. Francis’). Highlights are the six originals from member Paul Shreve, including ‘Spirit Of Life’, ‘Like A Fawn’ and ‘Rainbow’. Sounds like it was recorded in a big cavernous church. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and the track list.
