Great Is The Lord (A&R 85-26) 1978
An enjoyable small-group acoustic custom from Atlanta, Georgia featuring Clint Miller and Chuck Cleveland. Great Is The Lord contains ten of their self-composed songs Clint plays guitar and dulcimer, aided by Bill Gee (bass, harmonica), Torn White (12-string guitar) and Lin Lake (flute) – all four contribute to the vocals. Chuck’s role is introducing each song with a brief spoken segment over classical guitar. ‘His Love Is Everywhere For Everyone’, ‘Job’s Regret Turned To Praise’, ‘On To Elim (Exodus 15)’, ‘To See His Face’, ‘Sometimes It Takes A Whale’, ‘Song For My Christian Wife’, ‘A Very Special Song For Jesus’. Pleasant simple folky relaxed atmosphere. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and the track list.
