Have You Been (Mus-I-Col 1921/2) 1972?

The front cover of this home-made record is one of those standard lake/sunset photos, but flip to the back and there’s a small photo of a hairy Jesus freak sitting in a field with his guitar, looking up to the sky. That shot more or less captures the essence of this obscure guitar and voice hippie folk-singer acoustic rock album. Features eight original songs like ‘Jesus Will Put You Right’, ‘What A Wondrous Man’, ‘Message For All’, ‘Road To Life’ and ‘Saved Down By The River Bank’, plus a unique rendition of ‘They Will Know We Are Christians By Our Love’. Not a “perfect” voice, but still well suited to the style. Decent guitar work, moods shitting from vigorous strumming to skillful finger-picking to quiet passages. Custom Columbus, Ohio label. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet.
