The Searching Generation (Light LS-5500-LP) 1968?

The debut release for the Light label looks like it could be promising with that single eye peering through the title logo. Indeed, given the proper mood this thing can work nicely as sleepy nightclub torch lounge jazz folk whatever, embraced with a subtle grooviness that you can melt right into. Soft sultry carefree vocals sigh effortlessly over a background of gentle jazzy acoustic guitar, sometimes joined by a small combo that includes organ, piano and drums. Reminds me of a lesser Judy MacKenzie. Some Ralph Carmichael covers including ‘I Looked For Love’ and ‘He’s Everything To Me’, along with three of Rosemary’s own songs. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and the track list.
