The Mean Little Kid (Artist’s Records 790556) 1979?
Same format as the above album, but with a fresh plate of jokes / insults and a new set of victims. In the crosshairs this time is Pastor Carl Baugh of Calvary Heights Baptist Temple in St. Louis. Accompanying on piano is Mack Evans (or as Clyde calls him, “Smack Evans”), himself the recipient of a good share of Clyde’s attacks. I liked the out-of-control guffawing woman in the audience, to which Clyde comments “Good night, I think that lady’s gonna lay an egg!” Two more intolerable rounds of ‘Let The Sunshine In’, both with demonstrations of how long Clyde can hold on to a note. Another superb b&w cover photo of Clyde, complete with bandaged face and sideways baseball cap. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet.
