Jerry plays all the instruments except drums on this respectable Florida country rock custom that no ones’s ever heard of. Side one is especially strong crusing along to a Southern rural sound with Jerry on lead and rhythm guitars, bass, harmonica, Arp string and lead vocals (which sometimes sound a bit like Elvis). ‘Messiah’ is most definitely the coolest track here – it features a mighty fuzz guitar solo that runs through the song’s entire five-minute course. The lesser side two is more subdued, mostly Arp and country ballads, including the 7:20 ‘My Last Mile’. The guy on drums and the two backup singers (one male, one female) are the only other participants. Back cover shows Jerry with his guitar in front of the Opa-Locka City Hall, cowboy hat proudly in place atop his shoulder length hair. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
