Making It With Jesus (Remnant/Superior S-10162) 1975?

The matching vests sure don’t look promising, but Remnant’s Making It With Jesus is actually a fairly worthwhile guy/gal electric folk-rock private press – one of those “sincere effort” sort of deals. The vocals are rather calm and amateur, but the music has a pleasant homemade light-rock guitars/piano presentation, carried along throughout by some respectable electric guitar leads. Opens with a cover of Cream’s ‘I’m So Glad’ (with a few altered lyrics), closes with America’s ‘1 Need You’. In between are a mix of originals and covers, including ‘By Jesus I Am Saved’, ‘And Glory To The Son’, ‘Robbie’s Song For Jesus’, ‘You Don’t Know What You’re Missin’ and ‘Come Find Rest In Me’. From Murphysboro, Illinois (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and track list.
