All Is Ready (PAA 36235) 1979
Acoustic guitar, piano, flute, oboe and violin are all delicately woven into a beautiful picture of serenity on this prime example of the meditative Catholic folk style. Worshipful expressions like ‘Forever I Will Sing’, ‘Maranatha’, ‘Here I Am’ and ‘Taste And See’ all soar with moving minor-key melodies rich in emotion Also includes a folksy dulcimer/recorder rendition of Sydney Carter’s ‘Lord Of The Dance’. One of my personal favorites from the whole movement. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet.
