Saint, Joe - From The Beginning

This long-haired chap from New Jersey does crude but fun home-made-as-soup acoustic-rock-with-a-beat versions of stuff like ‘Welcome Table’, ‘My Sweet Lord’ (incorrectly listed as ‘My Sweet Bread’), ‘Take Our Bread’, ‘Let It Be’, ‘Waterbearer’, ‘I Can See Clearly Now’, ‘You’ve Got A Friend’, ‘Till’, ‘Prayer To St. Francis’ and ‘Day By Day’. From what I can tell Joe handles all the instruments which include guitar (acoustic and electric), drums, bass and piano. Nothing real heavy, though the rhythm section’s got some verve on the more upbeat numbers. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
