The Seasons Of Your Soul (DB 77 0253) 1977?

Seasons Of Your Soul, The

Mostly female Catholic folk ensemble whose homemade recording explores themes such as Faith, Brotherhood, Love, Hope, Joy, etc. Has a rich 12-string acoustic sound with dreamy floating harmonies and lovely lead female vocals. Includes one of the prettiest renditions of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Suzanne’ that I’ve heard same goes for Seals & Crofts’ ‘Ruby Jean And Billie Lee’ and the shimmering ‘The Flowers Appear’, both with moving God Unlimited-like charm. Other selections include ‘Spirit’, ‘Sabbath Prayer’, ‘Very Last Day’, ‘River Of Jordan’, ‘The Song Is Love’, ‘Landslide’, ‘Looking For Space’, fourteen in all. Some really gorgeous moments despite being almost exclusively cover songs. Recorded in Chicago to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Sacred Heart Parish. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).

I have not acquired this album yet.
