Good News (Universal Recording U-65223) 1976?
Catholic male/female group of thirteen and their home-made folk lp. Bearing acoustic guitars, electric bass, banjo, flute and crisp harmonies, they make a zestful run through the old World Library catalog, rendering songs by artists like Tom Parker, Jack Miffleton, Ray Repp, Sebastian Temple and The Group. They must have especially liked The Roarnin’ Collars since they cover three of their songs. Sixteen tracks in all. Handsome yearbook-style photos of each member on the back (perhaps they took a cue from Guitar Ensemble). Formed in 1968 at St. Boniface Church in Lafayette, Indiana, the group recorded this album to commemorate their eighth year. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the track list and the rear cover photo.
