Psalms 150 (Creation PS5001) 1979
Like New Jerusalem, Nashville’s nine-member Psalm 150 is one of those rare examples of a pop-MOR-folk group inexplicably working its way under my skin. Smooth mellow male/female sound gets a boost from an occasionally moving melody. The neat band name along with the ace cover art are probably clouding my judgment, though admittedly there are a few nice touches of electric guitar. In fact a whole album of tracks like ‘Candle’ and I’d have been mightily impressed. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet.
