Sonfolk - Going God's Way

Another go at it. Looks like they might have trimmed their membership down to about half. Overall a slight improvement over the other lps, but that’s still a lot of singers, plus the sound remains very primitive. Similar folk formula, mostly sluggish group sing-a-longs of things like ‘I Wish We’d All Been Ready’, ‘1 Am The Resurrection”, etc., sometimes with a single lead vocalist on the verses. A few okay one-voice one guitar solo tracks (‘Come Brothers And Sisters’, ‘The Man’) or small group performances (‘Have You Seen My Jesus?’), but I’m probably scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Ultra-crude b&w cover drawing of the back of a bus. See also Basics, (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
