Vehicle For The Lord (Sonshine no #) 1981

Sonshine - Vehicle For The Lord

I can’t for the life of me keep track of all these Sonshine, Sonlight and Sonrise groups — they all just sort of meld into this giant blur in the back of my mind. This one is a six-guy one-girl outfit from Kettering, Ohio. They set loose a few driving rniddle —ground rockers with lively piano and notable electric leads (‘When The Savior Comes Back’, the title track, and the boogie—rockin’ ‘Where Will You Spend Eternity’). The rest is mostly light rock, including a cover of Don Francisco’s ‘He’s Alive’l ‘Without Him’ is a nice flute-backed acoustic ballad. Front cover is a close-up photo of a car headlight.  (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
