First Collection (Tempest TR-RVHHB-002) 1980?
Pleasant folky soft-rock custom with a few pop edges that land them somewhere near Seals & Crofts, Limpic & Rayburn and Gospel Seed. Some purely acoustic tunes like ‘The Change That Comm Within’, Cat Steven’s ‘Father And Son’ and instrumental versions of ‘Jesus Loves Me’ and ‘Come Thou Fount’ (the latter with elegant classical guitar work). Other songs might include such instruments as piano, electric piano, string synthesizer and light horns. Attractive flute accompaniment soaring along on breezy melodic tracks like ‘Part Of His Plan’, ‘In Him I Stand’ and ‘Glory To God’. One cut with female lead vocals: the piano/guitar ballad ‘Discovery! ’. From Kenner, Louisiana. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
