Soft rural-rock and ballads trio of Roger Mullins, Larry Lee and George Spice with warm gentle electric sound. Simple home-made feel with bass, drums, lead guitar and rhythm guitar, plus some fitting violin accompaniment. Not as good as Trinity’s Jesus When The Sun Goes Down or the Rohrbacker, Hendren & Kingen lp, but similar realms. Sample titles: ‘Toy Boat’, ‘Imagine That’, ‘Galilee’, ‘Just Bein’ Happy’, ‘Don’t Jump Down’, ‘Take A Look’ and ‘Don’t Come Knockin’. Magnificent b&w cover art of kid using a tall cross to write the band’s name in the sand, with a large wave breaking in the background. From a church called The Stream in the Desert. Recorded in Kalamazoo, Michigan. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
