His Way (Mark MC 9304) 1974?
The wholesome jangly open-air acoustic sounds of Tommy Weikel and Randy Daniels. They’ve each got a guitar (6 and 12-string), to which are added bass and drums. Good relaxed folk-singer voices covering lots of familiar songs, including ‘When I Think Of The Cross’, ‘My Religion’s Not Old Fashioned’, ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters’, ‘He’s I Everything To Me’ and ‘Wedding Song’. Highlight is their version of ‘They’ll Know We Are Christians’, the rhythm section picking up a notch to cross them over into acoustic folk-rock. Local press recorded at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo along with the track list.
