Windsong (Wind-500) 1980?
You gotta hand it to any group that attempts a kazoo—laced cover of Daniel Amos’ ‘Skeptic’s Song’ – you know, that novelty track from their debut lp with the line “oh my, you’ll fry as we wave goodbye to you”. Also a very nice acoustic ballad ‘Steps’. A couple more decent folky banjo tracks (‘Brush Arbor’, ‘Keep On Walking’), but much of the rest of this 2-ma1e 2-female group’s record leans closer to piano contemporary gospel, with songs like ‘Your First Day In Heaven’, ‘If My People’ and ‘Oh Buddha’. Private press from South Lakeshore Christian Church, which would be in Tacoma, Washington. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet.
