There’s A Song (United Sound USR 9502) 1976
Here we go again with yet another beautiful yet totally unknown female folk-singer album. As with Marj Snyder’s A Time Of Peace, all the proper ingredients are in place: fresh original song-writing, a gorgeous voice and simple yet graceful home-grown acoustic arrangements. Features Elodie on guitar and vocals, supplemented with bass, 12-string and flute from Lyle Holdahl. ‘Children Of God’, ‘Upon His Holy Mountain’, ‘In The Quiet Of The Evening”, “Come Quickly, Lord Jesus’, six others. ‘ Recorded at Faith Baptist Church in Wilsonville, Oregon. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you George for the front and rear cover photos.
