Folk (No label WS-14) 1970?
Straightforward 14—person guy/gal guitars-and—tambourine folk outfit running through the usuals like ‘Hear O Lord’, ‘To Be Alive’, ‘Amen’, ‘I Don’t Know How To Love ‘Joy Is Like The Rain”, ‘Sounds Of Silence’, etc. Some welcome touches of electric guitar on ‘Get Together’. Mostly nondescript unison vocals of the church youth group variety, although a couple songs feature solo singers. A borderline passable record, one that lacks the warmth and original song-writing that characterize groups like Guitar Ensemble. Home-made deal from Our Lady Of Consolation Rectory in Wayne, New Jersey. The group was formed in 1968. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Brian for the song list and times. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and track list.
