Best Of Harvest (Coveanent no #) 1978
Bob Morphis and Mark Searnons have put together some fine rural heartland folk-rock here, sometimes with a light pop edge. Satisfying electric guitar, organ and piano mixture, getting pretty heavy on tracks like ‘Who Giveth To All Men’ and the classic-rocker ‘Beware The Harvest’. Marred slightly by a few ballads with strings. Lyrically doesn’t stray too far from typical Jesus music, though be aware of the little sentence on the back that identifies them as “young Mormon artists”. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photos, and track list.
