Make A Joyful Noise

Attractive gentle acoustic folk sounds from the female trio of Dawn Luginbuhl, Jeanette Trueb and Rebecca Ellert, plus one assisting non-singing male musician (Ken Bemier). The pine trees/lake cover illustration is the perfect complement to the musical serenity created by the acoustic guitars, dulcirner and delicate female harmonies. Soft contemplative ballads mostly, along with a few gentle upbeat folk/praise numbers. Some original songs, plus covers of ‘Seek Ye First’, ‘Thy Loving Kindness’, the Medical Mission Sisters (“Song For The Sun’), Sonny Salisbury (‘Psalm 19’) and John Foley/St. Louis Jesuits (‘Wood Of The Cross’, ‘Peace Prayer’). Also one instrumental, ‘Finlandia’. Custom lp from Tolland, Connecticut. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).

In the archivist this one is listed like a musical or like a various artist, yet described as a trio so I have added the trio instead of using Various. It is listed in The Archivist on page 157 as “Make A Joyful Noise”. diakoneo
