The Love Of Jesus (Greenhouse no #) 1976
Way better than average male/female folk-rock duo featuring Bruce Danna and Candy Pariseau. Mostly an acoustic focus, with songs like ‘Father, Won’t You Bring Them To Your Son?’, “Open Your Spiritual Eyes’ and ‘Putting On The New’ all having that jangly optimistic country-edged Jesus music sound. Electric guitar is present as well: check out the rock-and—roll action on the closing ‘The Love Of Jesus’, or ‘Trust In Me’ with its catchy soft-rock groove. Bruce handles most of the instruments: acoustic and electric guitars, piano and drums, plus bass on one song. Others provide electric bass and flute. Also a trio of Violins backing a couple of the ballads. On par with folks like Dove or The Pattons. Custom record from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo and song list.
