Melodee (No label R-2849) 1974?
Simple enjoyable folk lp featuring young singer Melodee Johnson’s soft breathy vocals against gentle acoustic guitar backing. She performs a few of her own songs, along with covers of ‘I Wish We’d All Been Ready’, ‘For Those Tears I Died’, ‘Bright New World’, ‘I Was In His Mind’ and ‘I Know Where I’m Going’. ‘Find Me’ and the solemn ‘Many And The Great’ have especially beautiful stirring moods. The fragile vocals sometimes reminded me of Honeytree and Marj Snyder. A custom record from Full Gospel Tabernacle in Reedley, California. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott)
