Dan Mogck (GT 101) 1978?

Mogck, Dan

Excellent folk custom from a guy who voice and music sound halfway between Pat Terry and James Taylor. Imagine a simple acoustic album from either of those guys and you’re in the ballpark for Dan’s record. includes ten of Dan’s songs, each of which is backed solely by acoustic guitar and bass. Good original song-writing on playful peppy tunes like ‘Sweet Fellowship Family’, ‘Thank You Jesus’ and ‘Natural Song’. Also fine examples of melodic ballads, minor-key moods and easygoing folk. A bit of kazoo on the light-and—bluesy ‘Red Moon’, Nice guitar work throughout. (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
