Long-haired Georgia dude’s spectacular rock/psych custom featuring loads of swirling organ coupled with savory electric guitar action for a sound that’s been likened to Azitis. The opening ‘How To Love You’ sets the stage with a strong yet melodic rock groove carried along by jangly electric rhythm guitar and surging organ, building up to an intense fuzz solo. ‘On The Way Back’, ‘Glory Lady’ and ‘Manifestations’ all have a similar upbeat joyful stride. ‘Resurrection Perfection’ and ‘Love God’s Little Children’ shift back and forth from slow moody textures to blazing entanglements of dazzling organ and furious fuzz ‘A Better Day’ glides along to a dreamy soft-psych mood, while the ambient organ/guitar instrumental ‘Donna’ closes the album with slow-melting ethereal phased electric guitar. Paul on vocals, guitar and percussion, assisted by his four-man band Ascension on keyboards, lead guitar, bass, drums and additional vocals. A phenomenal record, certainly in the top five for Christian male solo monsters. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
