To God With Love (STC-001) 1970?
Lorraine has one of those clear graceful I-was-born-to-sing-folk-music kind of voices. Although this album features fourteen of Lorraine’s songs, her vocals unfortunately don’t get the spotlight that often. Mainly ensemble harmonies from the ten Singing Sisters Of Saint Chretienne, backed by acoustic guitar. Standard nun-folk stuff, helped a little by the original song-writing. Go straight to Friendship Is Forever and Reflections for her classics. Lorraine is from Maine and has been described as having the gifts of healing and miracles. (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
I have not acquired this album yet. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo.
