Described as a blend of blues, rock, jazz and classical, The Toronto Mass brings to mind some of the Avant Garde label’s creative projects like Some Beautiful Day or the Crosscurrent Community.  Out-in-front bass, rock organ, tribal jungle percussion, jazz horns and psych-edged electric guitar all get tossed into the brew here.  Sounds pretty solid even with the bass angle (this is a jazz-rock mass after all).  Picked up by the NALR label for distribution to the US.   (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
