Damascus Road (CVR 78301) 1978?
Five guys and their fun down-to-earth homemade folk/bluegrass album featuring relaxed rural harmonies backed by acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo, dobro, fiddle and bass. Open’s with a Jesus music classic (The Road Home’s ‘Since I Met Jesus’), followed by such traditionals as ‘Peacher And The Bear’, ‘Dark Hollow’, ‘Columbus Stockade Blues’, ‘God’ll Do The Changin’ and ‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken?’. Also one original song, ‘Praise The Lord’. Eleven songs that should appeal to fans of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s Will The Circle Be Unbroken. No indication where they’re from. (The Archivist, 4th Edition by Ken Scott).
Sorry this one has eluded me as well. Thank you Laura for the track list. Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo.
