Ichthys - Come To The Water

Three girls, two guys, three acoustic guitars, one string bass.  Pleasant harmonies make for above average folk renderings of familiar songs like ‘For Those Tears I Died’, ‘Tramp On The Street’, ‘The New 23rd’, ‘Standin’ In The Need Of Prayer’, ‘I Wish We’d All Been Ready’, ‘New World’ and seven others.  In The “Christianized lyrics” department is an altered version of the Beatles’ ‘Here, There And Everywhere’.  Local press from students at Pennsylvania’s Messiah College.  Band name means “fish” in Greek, also an acronym for various names of Christ.  See also IHS.      (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
