Berakah - Dwell In My Love

The female folk group Berakah manages to capture a sound that is worshipful yet with an air of beautiful sadness, like a moving piece of classical music.  Sister Jean Annette leads these Catholic Sisters through ten of her compositions (“prayer songs”).  Their quiet moody  almost-classical folk sound comes through use of acoustic guitars, piano, flute, violin, and bass, with choir-like harmonizing.  The band name here is Hebrew for a prayer of blessing or thanksgiving.      (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
