The Preacher’s Favorites  (Blue Ash  BAR-1490)  1978

An obscure private recording that features Vic’s simple folk style applied to hymns such as ‘The Old Rugged Cross’, ‘Amazing Grace’,  and ‘How Great Thou Art’.  Worthwhile mainly through for the two original songs ‘The Truth Is’  and ‘I’m Looking Forward’.  Those five songs amount to only about fifteen minutes of music , the rest of the album being taken up with two mini-messages from Vic’s pastor, an older gentleman names J. Richard Hankins.  Boosted by some dulcet dual acoustic guitar accompaniment, though still the overall  air here might be too austere and conservative for most.      (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).

Sorry I have not found this album yet, but thank you Donald for the song lists and album pictures.
