The Spirit Of The Living God (RJW 741120)  1974

Mellow orchestrated sounds that on rare occasion cross over into rock.  The two qualifying songs would be ‘Don’t Turn  Away’ and the jazz-edged ‘Show Them The Light’, both respectable tracks that bustle with lively electric guitar leads alongside acoustic guitar, piano and drums.  The rest of the album consists of contemporary gospel, ballads and , MOR usually backed by piano and/or doused with strings, led by Randy’s smooth calm vocals.  Homemade lp from Lansing, Illinois.     (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).

Sorry I have not yet located a copy of this album, thank you Donald for pointing me to  a site with the songs list. sorry no order was given. they may be in order but not sure.

Tracks:

The spirit of the living God —
He’s a friend —
Death and sin passed away —
As long as I have Jesus —
Don’t turn away —
It happened to me —
He will take your hand —
Thank you, Jesus —
It was love —
Show them the light.
