I’ve Found A Friend (Majestic  LPS 1061)  1973?

Smooth-voiced folksinger rendering solo Acoustic material with a brooding sullen stillness alongside slightly edgier selections that have  minimal light-rock backing (guitar, piano, organ, synth, bass, drums).  Includes covers of ‘Wayfaring Stranger’, ‘Deep River’ and Jack Miffleton’s ‘Well It’s A New Day’, as well as several original songs.  I suppose you could loosely categorize him in there with guys like David Yantis or Robert Edwin.  Same label as some of those real early Evie albums.     (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
