Favourite Hymns Of Faith (Pilgrim 484) 1980 UK *

Favourite Hymns front

This one is not in The Archivist.  These are traditional hymns sung and played with a rural country sound. There are a couple that are piano driven but have other instruments in accompaniment.  ‘Leaning On The Everlasting Arms’ starts with an accordion. These are a warm addition to tradition hymns. I grew up with most of these hymns but the instrumentation was always organ or piano so guitars, drums, accordion, steel guitar and other instruments are a pleasant extra, along with Mary’s wonderful voice. A thank you to Leif for the music and Dennis for the cover photo.  Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo.
